Mata No Badh
Once upon a time the fierce Jadeja Clan ruled over the Rann of Kutch. This warrior fought many valiant wars and succeeded in guarding Kutch against Muslim and Gujarati invaders. Before every war started the Jadeja deities were worshipped with great candor. A temple called Mata No Madh was established and it was heralded to be a very auspicious spot for Jadejas. This temple is to the West of Kakkadbhit.The original temple was 1200 years old but was partly destroyed in the 1819 Gujarat earthquake. The second temple was constructed By Sunderji Saudagar a prominent personality of Kutch. The newer temple is grander and has a total height of 52 feet. Navaratr celebrations are held with great pomp and show here. The deity in Mata no Madh is Ashapura deity so this temple is alternatively known as Ashapura temple.
Dhinodhar Temple
Not only is the Holy Dhinodhar temple worth a visit but the hill holding it; the Dhinodhar hill is also considered to be auspicious and holy. It will take you 2 hours to reach Dhinodhar Hill from Bhuj and you will be spellbound by the serene beauty of the place. Dinodhar hill is actually a 386 meter high volcano that has been inactive since many years. There is a temple which is dedicated to Dharamnath at the top. Legend goes that Dharamnath stood up on his head for 12 years to commit penance. Gods told him to stop but he set forward a condition implying that the first pace he saw would become a desert. Since the Rann (which was once fertile) was seen by him, it became converted to a salt desert. Once you are on top of Dinodhar hill you can see the beautiful expanse of Chhari Dhandh Wetland beneath you. Nath Sampradev built this temple in 644 AD and since then it attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists.Swaminarayan Temple
The Swaminarayan temple in Bhuj needs no introduction as it is part of the famous Swaminarayan temple chain that is now established both in India and abroad. The Swaminarayan temple was established in 1824 and was badly affected by Gujarat Earthquake.
Subsequently the temple was rebuilt with pure marble and gold and now stands beside Hamirsar Lake. There is a pure Gold throne and precious stone idol of Radha Krishna in the temple. Click here to know more.
Guru Gorakhnath Temple
The 1821 earthquake damaged many of the treasures of Kutch and Guru Gorakhnath temple is one of them. Sundarjee Khatri finally took on the task of reconstructing the Gorakhnath temple and also fortifying and expanding it. There a 3 feet high Gorakhnath Murti now inside the temple and it is entirely constructed by rare black marble. The major attraction here is the oil lamp which has been kept burning by devotees and not even once has it gone out. There are multiple fireplaces that were used for Yajnas and Pujas. The Gorakhnath temple is now treated as a pilgrimage as there is saying that prayers are answered in this temple. Every year a mela is held on the birthday of Gorakhnath and thousands come to see it.Kakkad Bhit Yaksha
The Kakkad Bhit Yaksha is a small hillock which is 35 kms from the main town of Bhuj. Thousands of tourists come to see the holy idols of 72 Yakshas carved on the hillock. The Yaksha word has been derived from Jakha which means Greek immortals. The Yakshas fought valiantly to protect the land of Bhuj and this is why they are regard as holy. The idols were carved in the hillock to commemorate them for their many acts of sacrifice and helping to overthrow evil ruler Punara.Bhujang Nag Temple
The Bhujang Nag temple is dedicated to Bhujang God who is the brother of sheshnag (the ruler of Underworld). Bhujang Nag temple is 200 years old and holds a special place in the history of Bhuj. Nag Bawas who worship God Bhujang were supposedly responsible in helping win the battle against Mughal invader Sher Khan. This temple is in the corner of fort premises of Bhujiya fort. Gurudwara Lakhpat Sahib
Guru Nanak on his visit to Mecca was supposed to have stayed at the exact place where Lakhpat Sahib stands today. Some of Guru Nanak Ji’s personal belongings are still kept in Lakhpat Sahib and it is one of the important religious destinations for the Sikh. 
You can take bus from Bhuj to Lakhpat Sahib and it will take you 2-2.5 hours to reach. Langar is served daily in Lakhpat Sahib.

Siddha Shree Dhoramnath Monastery
Siddha Shree Dhoramnath Monastery is a major tourist draw near Bhuj. It will take you approximately 50 minutes to reach this monastery and it is one of the very few monasteries in the state of Gujarat. If you love the peaceful atmosphere and the meditative practices inside monasteries then you can also think of staying there. There are no charges and guests are also served dinner for a nominal fee. There is a resident monk and few apprentice monks in the monastery and they will regale with ancient lore about Buddhism and its beliefs.This monastery is only 3 hours away from the Pakistan Border and sometimes if the weather is clear you can get a glimpse of the border fringes. This is an 18th century structure and is an important landmark of Bhuj. Locals call this place SSDM.
